SALT PILL

• Used in over 10,000 wells in both oil & gas in Egypt alone.

• Return permeability of minimum 95% of the original K. 

• The pill seals at the formation face and can be produced with a 20 psi negative pressure. 

• The pill is 100% water soluble from produced water from the formation or induced water.

• The pill usages are - mainly but not limited to - Completion , Re-completion & Workover:

  • Before or after perforations, prior to P.O.O.H.

  • When a change of Pump is needed.

  • When a change of String is needed.

  • After a Frac job &/or an Acid job prior to P.O.O.H.

  • To locate and test holes in the casing or a leak in a liner. 

  • Rigless in high pressure gas wells to shut off upper producing zones and be able to open the lower one.

  • Sealing inside a Gravel Pack Screen prior to P.O.O.H.
